A Request to Remove a Credit Freeze will "thaw" any freezes that are currently on file with each of the credit bureaus and makes your credit report available to creditors and other third parties who might request it. Timelines and procedures for lifting a security freeze vary from one credit bureau to another, but they generally take about three business days from when your request is received. You will need your PIN that was provided when freezing your credit, so you can access your report and unfreeze when needed.
